Today is the day!  Help us by fund our game Transcend through Kickstarter!  The game will be a STEAM release when it is done.  Many people already know what STEAM is, but for those that don’t here’s the run down: STEAM has “over 3,500 games from Action to Indie and everything in-between. Enjoy exclusive deals, automatic game updates and other great perks.”  There are other things you can do besides just buying and playing games.  You can “gift your friends, trade items, and even create new content for games in the Steam Workshop. Help shape the future of your favorite games.”

I personally own Super Meat Boy and FEZ, both of which where featured on the great documentary called Indie Game: The Movie.  STEAM is really simple and that is where we have gotten the most attention for out game being on their Greenlight program.  We received enough up votes to be “Greenlit” and now we need funding to finish the game and make it the best game we can possibly make.  I am the artist and I love to draw.  I try to perfect my skills daily.  Brian Colon is the programmer, yes we are a team of two which is why we need your help.  We would like to finish this game and get it out on the market by next summer (2016) and in order to do that I need to be able to work on the art full time.  I am currently employed full time as a graphic designer and I am only able to work on the art for the game from home in my spare time.  We have a goal of $50,000, which will pay Brian’s salary for a year, along with expenses, but if we reach our stretch goal of $100.000 or more I can work on this game full time and really give everyone the most bang for their buck.

This game features very intense puzzles that require thinking outside of space and time.  It is possible, because you can’t really die.  When you die, it is most likely on purpose, to become a ghost and walk through walls or obstructions, and you can come back to life to continue on your path.  This idea of not dying is featured in Braid, which is another game that some say we are ripping off, but if you listen to the creator of Braid he specifically says that he took the idea from The Prince of Perisa.  the point is there aren’t really any new ideas, we just tell our own stories our own way and share it with other people.

Brian and I really love working on games.  We have released one endless running game called Run Bot Run, and we got it done in about a months time.  The graphics are very simple and it was my first experience making a game from scratch.  We also have another game called Astro’s Physics that we will finish after Transcend.  Brain has also created games on his own, which can be seen at our website Tent Maker Games.  My art has its own page and is now featured on the Tent Maker Games site as well.

We are very serious about finishing this game and all we need is the funding to get it done.  Please help us out by sharing this information.  So please tell your grammy, your aunty, your momma, your mammy, and anyone else you know about our game and please help us by buying the game now on Kickstarter.  Also check out our perks.  One of them includes your likeness as a non-playable character that you can interact with in the game.
