Transcend Demo Out Now

This weekend marked a milestone in development for Transcend, we got a demo up and running on Google Play Store.  You need a either a Moga controller for your device in order to play the game or if you know how to hook up a PS3 or an Xbox controller to your phone or tablet.  We have been developing this game for the NVIDIA Shield and we were told to push it to the limits.  We had to update the graphics, both in code and in the art department.  Given that the development team is 2 people, this is a big milestone to hit in a few months.  There are a lot of things that will change, but I want this to be an inspiration to people looking to create something.  You don’t have to have a huge team of people to get something done.  We have 2 interns that are teenagers that help with level design, but they only work on it a few days a month.  Your dream can happen, all you have to do is take that first step.  Learn how to do things by watching You Tube tutorials.  There are literally hundreds of tutorials on anything you can think of.  If you have a dream, your only excuse for not making it a reality is your own procrastination.  We have no funding for this project.  Brian, the programmer and level designer, works full time on this at his house.  I work on the art when I can and animation was a new thing for me when we first started making games with Run Bot Run and Astro’s Physics.  Level design and character design were also new things for me to learn.  I watched tutorials and looked at sprite sheets for inspiration and to learn how things got done.  Please read this and take your dream to the next level the same way Brian and I did.  You can do it!!!!
